MEM Salts Stock Buffer (10×)

1 m MOPS

20 mm EGTA

10 mm MgSO4

Add the salts one at a time to distilled H2O with constant stirring. Adjust the pH to 7.4 with 10 n NaOH solution. (The solution will be cloudy until it reaches the correct pH.) Bring the solution to the final volume and filter to sterilize. Store at room temperature in a foil-wrapped bottle.
