Sodium Iodide/Sodium Sulfite Solution

Reagent Quantity (for 5 mL) Final concentration
Sodium sulfite (Na2SO3)  5 mg 0.1% (w/v)
Sodium iodide 3.375 g    4.5 m
Dissolve sodium sulfite (Na2SO3) in 4 mL of sterile, nanopure H2O. To this solution, add sodium iodide and stir to dissolve. Filter the solution through Whatman paper and use immediately.
