Tween 40/Deoxycholate (DOC) Extraction Buffer

Reagent Per 100 mL of solution Final concentration
PIPES buffer (10×)       10 mL   1×
Na-deoxycholate (DOC)        0.5 g  0.5%
PMSF (100 mm)       1 mL 1 mm
EDTA (0.5 m)     0.6 mL 3 mm
Tween 40       1 mL  1%
H2O Add to 100 mL
Separately dissolve DOC and 1 mL of Tween 40 in 2.5 mL of 10× PIPES buffer before combining them. Add 5 mL of 10× PIPES buffer and PMSF. Add EDTA and ddH2O to 100 mL, adjust the pH to 7.4, and store at 4°C.
