Recipe

MD (Minimal Dextrose) Agar Plates

Bacto agar   15 g
H2O 800 mL
Autoclave for 20 min on liquid cycle. Cool solution to below 60°C and add:
YNB (10×) 100 mL
Dextrose (20%) 100 mL
Biotin (0.02%)  2 mL
MD plates store well for several months at room temperature in the dark.
