MM (Minimal Methanol) Medium

H2O 900 mL
Autoclave for 20 min on liquid cycle. Cool solution to below 60°C and add:
YNB (10×) 100 mL
Biotin (0.02%)  2 mL
Methanol (100%)  5 mL
MM (without methanol) stores well for several months at room temperature in the dark. Methanol may be added just before use.
