YPD (Yeast Extract Peptone Dextrose) Medium

Yeast extract   10 g
Peptone   20 g
H2O to 900 mL
For YPD plates, include 20 g of agar. Autoclave for 20 min on liquid cycle. Cool solution to below 60°C, and add 100 mL of dextrose (10%) <R>. The shelf life is several months at room temperature.
