Modified Barth's Saline (1×)

5 mm HEPES (free acid)

88 mm NaCl

1 mm CaCl2

1 mm MgSO4

2.5 mm NaHCO3

Prepare as a 10× stock and adjust pH to 7.4–7.8 with NaOH. Store at room temperature.
