Tricaine Euthanasia Solution (0.3%, w/v)

Dissolve 3 g tricaine powder (MS-222) in 1 L 20.6 mm Tris-HCl prepared in distilled, deionized, milliQ-filtered H2O. Adjust the pH to 7.0 ± 0.02 with 1 m HCl.

Store in the dark for up to 6 wk at 4°C.
