Tris-HCl-CaCl2 Buffer

Add 1.21 g of Tris and 1.11 g of CaCl2 to 900 mL of deionized H2O. Adjust the pH to 8.0 by adding concentrated HCl and then bring the volume of the final solution to 1 L with deionized H2O. Store for up to 6 mo at room temperature.
