Brij-Supplemented Drabkin's Reagent
Resuspend one vial of Drabkin's reagent (Sigma-Aldrich D5941) in 1 l of distilled and deionized H2O (MilliQ grade water). Add 0.5 mL of 30% Brij L23 solution (Sigma-Aldrich B4184). Mix and pass through a 0.45-µm filter if insoluble particles are observed. Cover the bottle with aluminum foil to protect it from the light and store the Brij-supplemented Drabkin's reagent for up to 6 mo at room temperature.
