87 mm NaCl

2.5 mm KCl

1 mm MgCl₂

1 mm Na₂HPO₄

5 mm HEPES (e.g., Sigma-Aldrich H3375; dilute from a 1 m, pH 7.7 solution that has been filter-sterilized and stored at −20°C)

1% (v/v) penicillin–streptomycin (Pen/Strep; e.g., Gibco 15140148; dilute 1:100 from a stock solution)

Freshly prepare and adjust the pH to 7.8. Prepare 1 L or more as needed for two female frogs.
