B2 Medium
| Reagent | Amount |

| Casein hydrolysate | 20 g |
| Yeast extract | 50 g |
| NaCl | 50 g |
| K2HPO4•2H2O | 2 g |

1. Dissolve the above reagents in 1.9 L of distilled H2O.

2. Adjust pH to 7.5 using NaOH or HCl and add distilled H2O to 1.95 L.

3. Autoclave at 15 PSI for 20 min at 121°C.

4. Dissolve 10 g of glucose in 50 mL of distilled H2O, sterilize with a 0.2-µm filter, and add it aseptically to the autoclaved medium.

Store for up to months at room temperature or 4°C.
