TSB + Y Medium

| TSB powder (Merck 105458) | 30 g |
| Yeast extract (Merck Y1625) | 5 g |

1. Dissolve TSB powder and yeast extract in a final volume of 1 L of H2O and autoclave at 15 PSI for 20 min at 121°C.

2. (Optional) Once cooled to room temperature, add (if required and immediately before use) the necessary antibiotics to the desired concentration from a 1000× stock solution.

Store the medium without antibiotics for up to several months at room temperature.
