Transfer Buffer (1×)

Prepare 10× transfer buffer as follows:

  • 22.5 g Tris

  • 105 g Glycine

Add double-distilled H2O to 1 L. Store at room temperature.

Freshly prepare the 1× working buffer by adding:

  • 100 mL 10× stock transfer buffer

  • 200 mL methanol (100%; Sigma-Aldrich)

  • 700 mL double-distilled H2O

Chill to 4°C before use.
