1. Combine the ingredients and dissolve in milli-Q purified H2O to a final volume of 1000 mL.

2. Adjust the pH to 7.1 using 1 m NaOH and sterilize the solution using a 0.2-µm syringe filter. Prepare in advance and store for up to 1 mo at 4°C.
