Embryo Solution (1×)
Dilute 100 mL of Embryo solution (10× stock) in 900 mL of double-distilled H2O to make 1.0 L of 1× embryo solution, then add 3.0 mL of Methylene blue solution (0.1%) before use. The 1× embryo solution can be stored for a few weeks at room temperature.
The final 1× embryo solution consists of the following concentrations:
128 mm NaCl
2.7 mm KCl
1.8 mm CaCl2
0.2 mm NaHCO3
