Baines Solution
Prepare an aqueous solution containing 135 mm NaCl, 5 mm KCl, 2 mm CaCl2, 4 mm MgCl2, 5 mm TES buffer (Fisher AC207510250), and 36 mm sucrose. Start with sterile solutions and water, or filter-sterilize the final mixture. Store for up to 6 mo at 4oC.
