LB Top Agar
Dissolve 1.25 g of LB (Lysogeny Broth) medium powder (MilliporeSigma L3522) in 50 mL of highly pure water (e.g., that produced with a Hydro PicoPure UV Plus system) with 0.35 g of Bacto Agar (BD 214010). Autoclave for 15 min at 121°C and 15 psi. When cooled, store at 4°C. Store for up to 3 mo if unopened. Melt in a microwave oven before use.
