Formamide-SSC solution

Reagent Amount to add (for 500 mL) Final concentration
SSC (20X) 50 mL 2X
Formamide (Merck) 250 mL 50%
H2O 200 mL
Adjust to pH 7.0 with 1 M HCl. Store at -20°C.
