Proteinase K in PBS for SISH

20 mg/mL proteinase K (Roche Applied Science)

1X Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) for SISH

To prepare a solution of 10 μg/mL proteinase K in PBS for SISH, add 25 μL of 20 mg/mL stock solution to 50 mL of 1X PBS for SISH. Mix.

Test the activity of each new batch of proteinase K. Store 20 mg/mL aliquots of proteinase K at −20°C, and prepare working solutions immediately before use.
