Albumin (thin)
To collect thin albumin:
-
1. Crack open a nonexperimental egg into a sterile Petri dish.
-
2. Use a sterile transfer pipette to pull off the thin albumin. Avoid the thick albumin, which forms a dense layer around the yolk.
-
3. Repeat with multiple eggs until ~10 mL has been collected.
-
4. Store the thin albumin in a sterile tube at room temperature for use during the lentiviral injection procedure.
