Pepsin for antigen retrieval

Reagent Quantity (for 20 mL) Final concentration
Pepsin 200 mg 1%
10 mM HCl (pH 2.0) 10 mL
Dissolve pepsin in HCl. Aliquot and store at −20°C for up to 2 yr. Before use, dilute 1:1 with H2O to give a working solution of 0.5% pepsin in 5 mM HCl and warm to 37°C.
