TE buffer for antigen retrieval

Reagent Quantity (for 1000 mL) Final concentration
Tris base 1.21 g 10 mM
EDTA (disodium salt) 0.37 g 1 mM
H2O 1000 mL
Dissolve Tris in 950 mL of H2O. Adjust the pH to 8.0 or 9.0 with 1 M HCl. Add EDTA and adjust the pH to 9.0. Add H2O to 1000 mL. Store at room temperature for 3 mo or at 4°C for up to 6 mo.
