Maleic acid buffer (5X)

Reagent Quantity
Maleic acid 29.02 g
NaCl 21.91 g
NaOH pellets 18 g
H2O 450 mL
Adjust the pH to 7.5 and then bring the volume to 500 mL with H2O. Filter-sterilize. For washes, dilute to 1X in H2O and add 0.2% Tween 20. Store at room temperature.
