Tribolium fixative

Reagent Quantity Final concentration
500 mM EGTA 0.5 mL 50 mM
PBS(P) (10X) 0.5 mL 1X
10% formaldehyde 4 mL 8%
The higher concentration of formaldehyde used in this fixative improves the antibody staining in Tribolium embryos.
