500 mL DMEM (Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle’s Medium, 1X high glucose [+ glucose, + glutamine, without sodium pyruvate]) (GIBCO/Invitrogen)
24 mg/mL HEPES (Sigma)
4 mg/mL L-glutamine
70 ng/mL β-Mercaptoethanol (Sigma)
Sterilize with a 0.2-μM filter and store as 27-mL aliquots at −80ºC.
