Array tomography subbing solution

Reagent Amount to add (for 300 mL) Final concentration
Chromium (III) potassium sulfate dodecahydrate (Sigma-Aldrich 243361) 0.15 g 0.05%
Gelatin from porcine skin, Type A, ~300 g Bloom (Sigma-Aldrich G1890) 1.5 g 0.5%
H2O 300 mL
Dissolve the chromium potassium sulfate in 10 mL of H2O. Dissolve the gelatin in 290 mL of H2O by heating to <60°C. Cool to ~37°C. Add the chromium potassium sulfate to the cooled gelatin solution. Filter and pour into a staining tank.
Prepare the day of use.
