DNase inactivation buffer (2X)

Reagent Quantity (for 10 mL) Final concentration (for 2X)
SDS (10%) 1 mL 1%
EDTA (0.5 M, pH 8) 20 μL 1 mM
Tris-Cl (1 M, pH 7.5) 200 μL 20 mM
H2O, RNase-free 8.78 mL --
All reagents used to make this buffer should be prepared with RNase-free H2O.
Store indefinitely at room temperature, but remake if cloudy (bacteria or mold contamination) or there is visible dust.
