Pronase-SDS solution

Prepare a stock solution of 20 mg/mL pronase in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5). Preincubate for 15 min at 56°C and then for 1 h by 37°C. Store aliquots at –20°C.

To prepare pronase-SDS, combine the following:

• 0.5 mg/mL pronase

• 0.5% SDS

• 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.4)

• 10 mM EDTA (pH 8.0)
