Sephadex G-50 (Equilibrated)

• 1. Hydrate 4–5 g of Sephadex G-50 Superfine powder (GE Life Sciences 17-0041-01) with DEPC-treated H₂O. Wash four times by removing the liquid and replacing with fresh DEPC-treated H₂O.

• 2. Remove liquid and add an equal volume of TE buffer (10 mm Tris–HCl [pH 7.5] and 1 mm EDTA [pH 8.0], prepared in DEPC-treated H₂O) to the hydrated Sephadex.

• 3. Store at room temperature.
