RNA Gel Casting Solution

13.125 mL acrylamide stock for RNA gels (40%)

12.6 g urea

1.5 mL TBE electrophoresis buffer (10×)

250 µL fresh 10% ammonium persulfate

11 µL tetramethylethylenediamine (TEMED)

DEPC-treated ddH₂O to 30 mL

Prepare fresh for each gel. Combine components and stir to dissolve urea. Add ammonium persulfate and TEMED immediately before casting.
