Synthetic Complete–Monosodium Glutamic Acid (SC–MSG) Medium

Reagents Final concentration (1×)
Yeast nitrogen base without amino acids and without ammonium sulfate  6.7 g/L
Agar  2% (w/v)
Amino acid mix (10×)    1×
Glucose  2% (w/v)
Monosodium glutamic acid (MSG)   0.1%
Store SC–MSG medium for up to several months at 4°C.
