KH2PO4   1 g/L
MgSO4   0.5 g/L
NaCl   0.1 g/L
Ca2Cl   0.1 g/L
H3BO4  0.5 mg/L
CuSO4 0.04 mg/L
KI  0.1 mg/L
FeCl3  0.2 mg/L
MnSO4  0.4 mg/L
Na2MoO4  0.2 mg/L
ZnSO4  0.4 mg/L
Biotin   2 µg/L
Calcium pantothenate  0.4 mg/L
Inositol   2 mg/L
Niacin  0.4 mg/L
Para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA)  0.2 mg/L
Pyridoxine hydrochloride  0.4 mg/L
Thiamine  0.4 mg/L
Galactose or glucose (optional; see below)   2% (w/v)
Amino acid mix (10×) (optional; see below)    1×
Always include sugars and amino acids (as appropriate) for cells that are not to be stressed while performing fluorescence microscopy or while doing the fluorometric or luminescent analyses. Store at 4°C. LFM without amino acids mix added can be stored at room temperature.
