| Sterilize 10× PBS without Tween 20 using a disposable 0.22-µm vacuum filtration system in a tissue-culture hood and store
at room temperature. Dilute to 1× and/or add Tween 20 as needed: For 1× PBS containing 0.001% Tween 20, dilute 10× PBS 1:9
in distilled water to give a volume of 500 mL, and add 5 µL of Tween 20. For 1× PBS containing 5% Tween 20, dilute 10× PBS
1:9 in distilled water to give a volume of 475 mL, and then add 25 mL of Tween 20 for a final volume of 0.5 L.
