PEM Fixation Solution

100 mm piperazine-N,N′-bis(2-ethanesulfonic acid) (PIPES)

1 mm EGTA

1 mm MgSO4

Adjust the pH to 6.9. (Note that it is important to use the sodium and not potassium salt of PIPES.)
