Agar Medium (2%)

  • 1. Prepare a solution of 2% agar in deionized H2O.

  • 2. Sterilize by autoclaving for 20 min at 15 psi.

  • 3. Pour 5–10 mL of agar medium per 52 × 10-mm Petri dish.
