Fehling's Reagent

Prepare this solution (which is from Algranati et al. 1966) fresh for each experiment by adding one volume of reagent B (3.5% CuSO4) to one volume of reagent A (17.3% potassium sodium tartrate dissolved in 12.5% KOH) and mixing well. Store reagents A and B for up to 1 yr at room temperature. Protect Reagent B from light during storage.
