RNase H (10 mg/mL) (DNase-Free)

1. In a clean 15-mL Falcon tube, add
Bovine pancreatic RNase H 100 mg Sodium acetate (10 mm, pH 4.8) 9 mL -
2. Dissolve RNase crystals completely by vortexing.

3. Place the tube in a boiling water bath for 15 min. Remove the tube and allow it to cool to room temperature (∼5 min).

4. Add 1 mL of 1 m Tris-Cl and vortex for 30 sec.

5. Five-milliliter aliquots of this solution may be stored at −20°C.

RNase H is stable for 6 mo at −20°C.
