Synthetic Minimal Liquid Medium

1. In a 0.5-L bottle or flask, combine 3.4 g of yeast nitrogen base (YNB) without amino acids (Sigma-Aldrich Y0626) and 475 mL of H₂O. Autoclave for 30 min at 15 psi.

2. Add 25 mL of 40% (w/v) glucose (separately sterilized by autoclaving or filtration).
