Phosphate-Buffered Saline (PBS) (0.1 m, pH 7.4)

• 1. Mix 40 mL of 0.2 m dibasic (Na₂HPO₄) phosphate buffer (PB) stock with 10 mL of monobasic (NaH₂PO₄) PB stock.

  • Prepared PB stocks can be stored at room temperature for months.

• 2. Add 0.9 g NaCl and stir until dissolved.

• 3. Bring the volume to 100 mL with distilled H₂O and adjust the pH to 7.4.
