Dejelly Solution #1 for X. laevis Eggs

Reagent Quantity Concentration
L-cysteine (e.g., Sigma-Aldrich C7352)  20 g 2%
Extract buffer (XB) salts (20×) 50 mL  1×
Combine with 900-mL MilliQ H2O, adjust pH to 7.8 with 10-m NaOH, and bring to 1 L with MilliQ H2O. Make fresh on day of preparation, and store at 16°C until use.
