Hoechst Stock Solution

Reagent Quantity (∼400 µL) Final concentration
Sucrose (1 m)   80 µL   200 mm
HEPES-KOH (1 m, pH 7.6)    4 µL    10 mm
Formaldehyde (37%)   80 µL    7.4%
Hoechst (1.0 mg/mL)  3.2 µL 8 µg/mL
H2O 232 µL
Dilute 10 mg/mL stock of Hoechst in water prior to use above. Store final solution at room temperature protected from light.
