Non-Reverse Transcriptase MasterMix (NRT-MM)
For a single control reaction prepare:
4 µL 5× first-strand buffer (Life Technologies 18080-044)
1 µL 0.1 m DTT (Life Technologies 18080-044)
0.5 µL 40 U/µL RNase OUT Ribonuclease inhibitor (Life Technologies 10777-019)
0.5 µL RNase- and DNase-free H2O
The total volume of NRT-MM added to a single control reaction is 6 µL. Prepare the correct amount for the number of control samples and calculate a 10% excess to compensate for pipetting errors. Prepare fresh and store on ice for the duration of the cDNA conversion.
