Vibratome-Agarose Embedding Medium
Put 4 g agarose in an Erlenmeyer flask and add Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS; 1×) to obtain a final volume of 100 mL. Heat the mixture until boiling in a microwave to dissolve the agarose. Cool briefly before use. The embedding medium can be reheated twice, and stored for up to 1 mo at 4°C.
