Cryo-Agarose Embedding Medium

Put 1.25 g agarose and 30 g sucrose in an Erlenmeyer flask, and add Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS; 1×) to obtain a final volume of 100 mL. Heat the mixture using a microwave (until boiling) to dissolve the agarose. Cool briefly before use. The embedding medium can be reheated twice and stored for up to 1 mo at 4°C.
