Tryptic Soy Broth (TSB)

1. Dissolve 30 g of TSB powder (BD 211825) in a final volume of 1 L of H2O and autoclave for 15 min at 121°C under standard conditions.

2. (Optional) Once cooled to room temperature, add (if required and immediately before use) the necessary antibiotics to the desired concentration from a 100×–1000× stock solution.

3. Store the medium without antibiotics for up to several months at room temperature.
