d-Sucrose (0.5 m Stock Solution)

For a volume of 1 l of a 0.5 m stock solution:

  • 1. Dissolve 171.15 g of d-sucrose (Fisher BP220-1) in 800 mL of H2O.

  • 2. Make-up to a volume of 1 L with H2O.

  • 3. Filter-sterilize or autoclave using a short sterilizing program.

  • 4. Store for up to several months at 4°C.
