1. Completely dissolve PEG600 and NaCl in a final volume of 1 L of dH2O with brief heating to 65°C.

2. Filter-sterilize with a 0.2-µm filter.

3. Autoclave at 15 PSI for 20 min at 121°C on a liquid cycle.

Store the solution for up to 1 yr at 4°C.
