Separation/Resolving Gel Mixture (12%)

Recipe

Tris-HCl (1.5 m, pH 8.8)	2.5 mL
Double distilled H₂O	4.29 mL
Acrylamide/Bis solution 29:1 (30%; Bio-Rad)	3 mL
SDS, 10% (w/v)	0.1 mL
Ammonium persulfate, 10% (w/v)	0.1 mL
Tetramethylethylenediamine
(TEMED; Bio-Rad Laboratories 161-0801)	0.01 mL

Freshly prepare. Add TEMED last, immediately before pouring the gel solution into the gel casting apparatus.
