LB Top Agar

1. Add 0.35 g of Bacto agar (Sigma-Aldrich A5306) and 1.25 g of LB medium (Sigma-Aldrich L3397) to 50 mL of distilled water in a glass bottle.

2. Autoclave for 20 min at 120°C. Then, aliquot 10 mL per 50-mL tube and store at 4°C.

3. Melt in a microwave and place in a water bath to keep it at 50°C until use.
